Sans Katie

My home life is officially sans Katie. This is a sad, sad day. There are no pictures today, becacause Katie took her camera with her and I still haven't bought one. But if I were to post a picture, it would be of a very quiet house. Dad upstairs watching TV. Mom downstairs watching TV. And me in my new place (Very exciting. No door yet, but I have walls!) texting Katie all those 20 miles away. So in honor of Katie going away to college, I have compiled a list. Little pieces of advice for my three girls (Katie, Albree, and Melissa) to remember while they are at school:

1. Keep your eyes open for the correct backpack/man combination. You may inadvertantly pass by members of your eternal team if you aren't paying attention.
2. Do not find a boyfriend your first day on campus. Keep your options open.
3. Do not skip school to go to work (I know from personal experience that this is not good for your grades)
4. For the love of Mika, please keep your sense of humor. If any of you three lost that, the world would be a sadder place
5. Do not be a food whore.
6. Lifelines are available any time except Tuesday and Thursday nights. Phone, email, and text are all acceptable forms of communication.
7. Let's be honest. I was not good at college the first time around, so I'm not even going to try and make up anything else. Love you girls and good luck. Keep me "posted" (haha - funny blog joke...)

Oh sad day at the Bailey household!! I wish that there was something I could do... But alas, I am here with the queen of chit-chat and the Texas gang. So when you think to yourself, will Katie at least be getting adequate amount of sleep...think again! Love you and be grateful for a quiet house, because this place is just the opposite!!! Me want sleepy... PS by the way I just had the hardest word verification, or maybe I am just so out of it that I am really just retarded...

oh Ash! There is so much love radiating from this blog, and it has certainly hit me, all these 20 miles away. I will heed your advice religiously (haha - funny BYU joke) and be sure you give you lots of updates. P.S. You should probably come down with Albree tomorrow night for our MJ Birthday Party. That would rock.

LOVE YOU!

Thanks you so much for the words of wisdom! I have been watching for backpack combos! So far nothing, but then again I am surrounded by freshmen.

is there a reason your personal bubble is getting bigger? I feel as if it's a product of your new living quarters. PS you're looking really hot these days. Good work!

I think that just because you don't have internet in the basement doesn't mean you should shut off your blog completely!! It is truly unfortunate! I have missed all you posts that involve me...

I'm sorry! I hate blogging without pictures. But I will get a camera this weekend. And thank you Shelli. I may have to borrow Brody to help me create smoky eyes. I have never quite been able to get that down.

Oh, and P.S., my personal bubble is actually how socially anxious I am feeling. The bigger the personal bubble, the more anxious I am and the more space I need. Maybe it does have to do with school a little bit. Sitting in a room full of strangers for three hours is a little weird... :)

Hurry and get a camera. I feel I need to be updated on what is going on in your life these days.
